about me.

Hello, nice to meet you.
I'm Kritika Sharma, a developer turned designer who loves blending creativity in tech. I believe that clarity is the most powerful form of design. Outside of work, I am a photographer and a huge animal lover.

[Present]
I'm currently working at Litewave AI (yes!! I made that website), an early-stage B2B compliance start-up as a UX Designer based out of San Francisco, California.

I came to the United States in 2023 for my masters and graduated from Purdue University (Boiler Up!) in May 2025 with a degree in UX Design. While at Purdue, I worked as the UX Lead at the Purdue Online Writing Lab (OWL), which gets over 15k visitors every day (so many people!). I have also had the chance to lead and contribute to all kinds of projects like designing for an AI-powered startup, and building a platform that supports court advocates. Its been an exciting journey combining research, strategy, and creative energy to work on meaningful experiences!

[Past]
I completed my undergraduation in Engineering from Bangalore, India in 2020 and soon after started working as a software engineer at an enterprise software (Manhattan Associates) for over 2+ years.

I believe design is empathy in action. Bad design forgets that a real person, with emotions, limitations, and curiosity, sits behind the screen. For me, clarity means you never have to Google how to use something. It means design that respects your time and intelligence.

my life in photographs

A little about me: I grew up in Bangalore, India, and spent most of my life in the south. But since my parents are from the north, I like to think of myself as a mix of both. Frames below : [Bangalore through my lens]

  • [A blend of all things bangalore; gift]

  • [Koshy's Restaurant; classic]

  • [Breakfast and tea; koshys]

  • [Champaca Bookhouse; fav spot]

  • [Postcards; blossom bookhouse]

  • [Indian Coffee House; oldest restaurant ]

  • [Bangalore sunsets; beauty]

    [Indian Coffee House]

  • [Bougainvillea; a bangalore classic]

  • [Comfort food; dosa]

I am a big fan of slow living and while I didn't like cooking, I found my inclination to it through homesickness.

I love dogs, cats, photography, music, and art. I love music and honestly wish life came with its own background music.
